Active Directory integration and custom SSO authentication

Hello,

We need a to address two main points:

  1. Configure a Rocket.Chat Docker instance with an Active Directory instance. We will provide de Active Directory information required.
    The final result expected is the full information of the LDAP configuration so we can make the same configuration in our side and test it.

  2. Develop custom SSO authentication using a REST service we already have.

Not sure I fully understand.

If you have the integration with Active Directory set up, then why do you also need the custom SSO auth?

Would the users not be authentication from Active Directory, or do you have 2 sources of directory/users?
