Active Directory Connection for User Auth

Description

I have a working rocketchat server and am wanting to setup auth against my windows server active directory. I have Nextcloud working to auth against the AD, so I know it works. I have setup the server in Rocketchat and I can get a successfull connection test, but I can’t get a successful user search test.

What are the settings one should use for Base DN and Filter for Active Directory?

I work in a department that is a small subset of larger organization. I’m trying to figure out how I can populate SW with a smaller group consisting of only the people we support.

If I put in the following for the Base DN for LDAP search I get 85,000 objects.

(OU=Accounts,DC=Acme,DC=Com)
