When will Rocket Chat support WebRTC? I really need voice conference function. But Jitsi is blocked in China. And Big Blue Button needs to install a server by ourself (?). It seems the only option is to wait WebRTC function. ---

As an option you can create your own jitsi server with customized authentication, if you wish, and using the code from the pull request ([https://github.com/RocketChat/Rocket.Chat/pull/12259](https://github.com/RocketChat/Rocket.Chat/pull/12259)), configure this type of authentication in the your RocketChat instance. But you can simply specify your server ([https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/quick-install.md](https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/quick-install.md)), without authentication, then everything will work only through your server. ---

Hi Roman, thanks for your reply. China users can’t download Jitsi app from App store. Is there a way to use video without Jitsi app? ---

I don’t know about store, but I know that you can compile fully customizable desktop and mobile applications RocketChat that communicate with your main RocketChat server. And jitsi has its own mobile application in general. I think it is possible, but it is necessary to dig in jitsi, and this is a topic for other topics ---

Thanks Roman. I can use my computer for a video call. but I can not download Jitsi app for my mobile phone. And other Chinese users can not download that app either. It seems that Jitsi app is necessary for Rocket Chat mobile users.
