# User presence not working

### Description
In our Rocket.Chat instance user presence is not shown correctly in the web and desktop client. On mobile we still see green and orange dots for online or away presence but on desktop and web the presence is not visible anymore. There is only a black dot for offline and nothing for the rest of the presence. Rebooting the server didn’t change the status of this. Any idea anyone?

- Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 3.0.3
- Operating System: Debian 9.12
- Deployment Method: tar
- Number of Running Instances: 1
- DB Replicaset Oplog:
- NodeJS Version: 12.16.1
- MongoDB Version: 3.6.17
- Proxy: apache2
- Firewalls involved: nope

the same problem - statuses are different on web&mobile fir one user at time

Now there are even more problems in displaying things in rocket.chat. users cant see the “add users” button in group settings and some other buttons are missing as well. ist this a general css problem or are there any graphics missing? should we try and modify the theme?

Okay, fixed it with custom css overrides. Thanks anyway.

This css override you’ve mentioned - it solved user presence issue? Or only displaying ‘add users’ button? I have also problems with user presence 😕
