### Description I’m trying to register on [https://cloud.rocket.chat/](https://cloud.rocket.chat/). I got an email with the link to verify my email but once I open the website, the site is loading with the message _Verifying your email…_ The console shows: _Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()_ ### Server Setup Information I tried to open the URL in the latest Chrome and Mozilla Browser, both show the same result. ### Any additional Information I’m currently in Turkey and using NordVPN connecting to a obfuscated server in Germany. No idea if this might cause the issue. ---

my customer is having the same issue; no vpn/proxy, US, personal email domain ---

I am also having the same issue, it stays on `Verifying your email ...` with this error in the consol: ```auto {"status":500,"error":"internal_server_error","errorId":""} ``` ---

Same issue. Is there a work around, I have an install that is blocked until this is resolved. In USA no VPN. ---

Found a work around. After you get the email to verify, click the link and you should see the Verifying Email… - Go to [https://cloud.rocket.chat/](https://cloud.rocket.chat/) and do Forgot Password for the userId you were trying to verify. - After receiving the forgot password email, follow the steps to change password (you dont have to change it, you can reuse the same one). - Then go back to [https://cloud.rocket.chat/](https://cloud.rocket.chat/) and login You will now be able to access your account and register your workspace. ---
