# Struggling with importing Slack data to Rocket.chat

Hi! I’m attempting to import Slack data into a recently spun up “stable” docker instance. Node is maxing out 1 of 4 cores on my server and taking a very long time to import my Slack 43.5 data zip so I’ve broken my Slack export into smaller 4.3mb chunks (90,000 messages at a time).

Even smaller 4.3mb chunks take over an hour to import and I’m curious on if there is a better way to handle the import. Thank you!
