# Replace standard chime and door mp3's with a new default

Hi everyone,

I’ve been chasing this for several weeks and have been unsuccessful in updating the default sounds across my instance. Basically I want to replace the standard chime and door mp3’s. I’ve replaced them in both locations, restarted the rocket process and now I don’t have any sound. Is there a special process to replace these files?
