# Renaming Channels

Hello

When I was on the trial of Rocket Chat I thought I had changed a setting that allowed me to customize the names of the channels so that they could be capitalized within the side bar.  
Example: “Sales Partners”

I am self hosting and re setting up the settings but am not finding how I did that before. There is a setting that I enabled called ‘Allow Special Characters in Room Names’ but that didn’t seem to do the trick.  
This is how it currently shows: "sales-partners’

Is that still an option?
