# Matrix Client-Server API

Hello,
I’m running rocketchat as well as matrix servers. I’m considering switching some of the currently rocketchat-servers to synapse. I’m aware of the new federation capabilities and think those are great for most usecases.
However I’m also developing matrix bots and integrations for customers and I’m wondering whether the [Client-Server-API](https://spec.matrix.org/v1.6/client-server-api/) will be supported any time soon?
I cannot find a comprehensible overview on what’s implemented and what’s planned. Is there a more specific roadmap or supported feature page somewhere?

In terms of future roadmap, recommend getting to a rocket.chat community open call and send question during the event. I’m sure team will be able to share details there.
