Hi,
Running wocket chat self hosted, and been on 6.11, suddenly this issue began:

“Oops! This is not a Rocket.Chat workspace. Contact your workspace admin”

Have upgraded to 6.12 now, but it solved nothing.

The WEB APP works flawlessly.

Best regards
Martin

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for the lacking info’s at post start.

- Server Setup Information:
  - Licence type eg CE/Starter/Pro : STARTER
  - Number of users: 17
  - Server hardware: VPS/hypervisor/bare metal Hypervisor (VMWARE)
  - Version of Rocket.Chat Server:6.12.0
  - Operating System: Ubuntu/Redhat etc Ubuntu
  - Deployment Method: snap/docker/tar/etc : docker

  - NodeJS Version: 14.21.3
  - MongoDB Version: 5.0.24

- Client information:

- A list of the steps requires to replicate the issue.

Try to open Workspace: [https://chat.frederiksenonline.dk](https://chat.frederiksenonline.dk) immediately shows the “Oops” notification.

As written earlier, WEB interface works perfect.

Hmmm

Going to your URL:

Presume you have it geoip locked or similar?

Check you logs for errors.

Have you checked your cloud panel - I have seen some Starters downgraded to CE with 6.12 ( ☹ ) but that shouldn’t lock the iOS app.

Does Android connect?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

I have been looking into the error, and I am embarrassed ☹

I did https:// in front of the Workspace name, damn, removed it and all went fine.

SO SORRY 😊

Best regards

Martin

IME it is usually the simple things 😉

Hence that gist - most stuff is fixed with RTFM, document it properly - which usually reveals the problem - and look for the obvious.

In your situation I would fix your proxy and redirect http \> https 🙂

ha ha - deserved that 🙂

Well I have https redirect already. But if you on IOS APP, where it asks for the Workspace name type [https://xxx.xxx.xx](https://xxx.xxx.xx) it fails, if you type xxx.xxx.xx it works, funny my own manual shows this, so…RTFM martin 😉
