# How to upgrade from 1.2.3 to latest version

### Description

I have a rocket chat server running on snap that hasn’t updated due to the fact that a proxy was blocking it. How would I go about updating from version 1.2.3 to the latest version? I tried running ‘sudo snap refresh rocketchat-server’ and rocketchat was no longer running even after a reboot.
