# How do I invite someone without register to join channel?

### Description

I created a new channel and need add somebody and discuss, but by default when I sent invite like to someone who need register a new user, how can I setup Rocket.Chat and invitee do not need register and just type his name to join my channel?

### Server Setup Information

- Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 4.2.2
- Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04
- Deployment Method: snap
- Number of Running Instances: 1
- DB Replicaset Oplog:
- NodeJS Version: 12.22.7
- MongoDB Version: 3.6.23
- Proxy: nginx

Hi! Welcome to our forums.

In order to enter and discuss on your channel, users need to be registered, AFAIK.

You can send them the url of a channel, like: [http://localhost:3000/channel/General](http://localhost:3000/channel/General) and ask them to register. Right after registering, they will be redirected to the channel.

I don’t wanna users register it, I means users can type them name and join the meeting do not need register.
