Hello,
We run a self-hosted workspace on the Starter plan (13 active users, well under the 50 limit).
Our admin console now shows this warning on the LDAP settings page:
From version 9.0.0 on, this authentication method requires a Premium plan. Workspaces without a license covering it will not be able to authenticate users through it after the upgrade.
In this thread, a moderator said LDAP/SAML would remain available from Starter upwards.
However, the documentation now states that Commercial, Government and Defense are collectively the premium plans, and that any reference to “a premium plan” means one of those three, with Starter and Community listed separately as free entry points.
Read literally, that would mean Starter does not cover LDAP after 9.0, which contradicts the forum answer.
Could someone confirm which is correct? Specifically: will a Starter workspace still be able to authenticate users via LDAP after upgrading to 9.0.0?
King regards
