# Disable\_presence\_monitor env

### Description

Hi!

If I add a ENV on one instance:  
DISABLE\_PRESENCE\_MONITOR = yes

On other instances (rocketchat@.service), I do not want to disable this parameter, should I add to the service file or not?

DISABLE\_PRESENCE\_MONITOR = no

Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 3.18.3  
Operating System: Windows  
Deployment Method: tar  
Number of Running Instances: 5  
DB Replicaset Oplog: +  
NodeJS Version: v12.18.4  
MongoDB Version: 4.5  
Proxy: nginx

HI!

According to here ([Microservices Setup [beta] - Rocket.Chat Docs](https://docs.rocket.chat/quick-start/installing-and-updating/micro-services-setup-beta)) it state it should be enabled.

Are you on Enterprise Edition? If that’s the case, you can use our Official Support.

Also, bear in mind that this is a beta functionality 🙂
