# Check client version on server side

### Description

We want to prohibit the use of desktop versions of the chat client and allow only the use of the web version and mobile application. Are there any ways out of the box how this can be implemented?

It would also be great to see with which version of the client the user connects to us (version and type)

Any ideas? 🙂
