# Can i use gateway.rocket.chat behind cdn like cloudflare?

Hi @saeb welcome to RocketChat forum. We have some questions:

Is this for a specific app? Or you want to use our app but not a direct connection between us?

If it’s the first option, I would recommend you could check this thread in the forum:

Now if it’s the second option, why would you do that if RC is configured with reverse proxy? But at the end it’s possible, but it’s like adding more workload to your network.
