# BigBlueButton guest

Hello,

All the BigBlueButton screenshots online show that the welcome page should contain a link to the meeting, which can be used to add more guests. It seems that when Rocket creates a BBB video conference, it sends a custom welcome message to the BBB server, which disables this feature.

Is there any way to retrieve the video conference link, so you can share it with a third party guest (which is not a rocket chat user at all)? In case a specific meeting requires external guests for that specific call.

Also, recording seems to be disabled (based on the create URL that Rocket sends to BBB, which doesn’t set record=true). Can I customize this as well?

Same questions:

- How can i edit a welcome message?

- How do i get an external link?

- I can’t record too… how can i activate bigbluebutton recording?

Everything else works fine! …if i open bbb direct in browser recording works fine.

RocketChat is running on my pi for test purpose. But i think this should also work on pi?
