Welcome to the Google Summer of Code 2026 forum!

Rocket.Chat is proud to be a participating open source mentoring organization for [Google Summer of Code 2026](https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/), helping to introduce a new generation of developers to open source.

Be sure to join our [24 x 7 community server chat channel](https://open.rocket.chat/channel/opensource2026) and introduce yourself to our community of active mentors and contributors.

We have also created a [Google Summer of Code Rocket.Chat Team](https://open.rocket.chat/channel/opensource2026) where you can learn and explore together with the community in a myriad of [team channels](https://open.rocket.chat/channel/opensource2026/team-channels), including [How to get started](https://open.rocket.chat/channel/How-to-Get-Started), [landing your first pull request](https://open.rocket.chat/channel/Landing-the-first-PR), and many many more.

Our community has put together [a valuable collection of resources](https://github.com/RocketChat/google-summer-of-code/wiki/Resources-for-global-open-source-contributors) to get you started contributing to Rocket.Chat.
